The inspection will include an exhaustive review of the RV, inside and out. If power and water connections are available, all of the kitchen appliances and systems will be exercised to make sure they function, along with the television and stereo if equipped. The plumbing system will be pressurized, the water pump and water heater will be tested. The RV will be thoroughly inspected for water intrusion, from the roof to the underbelly, including the inside, with special attention to interior water damage. Tires and suspension will be inspected, along with the underbelly. If appropriate, brakes will be inspected (not needed on a new camper), operation of the breakaway switch will be verified. There are more than 125 items on the checklist that will be verified. A selection of photos will be taken and provided with the results of the inspection.
All the systems in the camper will be verified to be operational at the time of the inspection. There is no way to guarantee that there will not be a failure of any of the systems in the near or distant future.Â
